A young filmmaker travels back home to Basque Country to follow three friends on a surreal nautical voyage. Riding a second-hand paddle boat, they pedal over 150km along the entire Basque coast from Hendaia (French Basque Country) to Bilbao in an attempt to rediscover their country’s shoreline. However, as a paddle boat is not made for the rough Basque sea, things don’t go as planned. The journey becomes a delirium with unforeseen accidents, folkloric parties, hangovers, a shaman, a funeral... Documenting the expedition of these “sailors” on his own, the filmmaker finds himself on a parallel inner journey.

Un cineasta principiante sigue a tres amigos en un surrealista viaje náutico. Montados en un pedaló de segunda mano pedalean más de 150km a lo largo de toda la Costa Vasca. Sin embargo un pedaló no está hecho para la mar hostil del País Vasco y nada más comenzar, el viaje se convierte en un delirio con accidentes e imprevistos, fiestas, resacas, un chamán, un funeral... Documentando la expedición de estos tres “marineros” por sí solo el director se ve inmerso en un viaje interno paralelo.

Zinemagile hasiberri bat hiru laguni segika dabil bidaia nautiko surrealista batean. Bigarren eskuko pedaló batean igota, Euskal Herriko kostatik 150km egiteko asmoa dute. Pedaloa, tamalez, ez da Kantauri itsasoko uretan ibiltzeko sortua, eta hasi bezain pronto, bidaia zoramen bihurtuko da: ezbeharra, parranda, biharamuna, xamana, hileta e. a. Hiru “marinel” hauen espedizioa dokumentatzen doan heinean, zuzendaria, bidaia paralelo batean murgilduko da.
